• Assam flood death toll has reached 98 as of the latest report.
• The number of affected districts has declined to 13, including Sivasagar, Golaghat, Nagaon, Hojai, Sonitpur, Dhemaji, Darrang, Biswanath, Kamrup (M), Lakhimpur, Udalguri, Jorhat, and Charaideo.
• Floodwaters currently impact 33 revenue circles and 464 villages.
• Approximately 1.55 lakh people remain impacted by the ongoing deluge.
• The Assam State Disaster Management Authority (ASDMA) serves as the primary official body monitoring and reporting on the flood situation.
