The Green Energy Corridor (GEC) is an initiative to transmit electricity from renewable sources like solar and wind by synchronizing them with conventional power stations in the grid.

Seven out of eight states have completed work under Phase I, while Phase II projects are ongoing with extensions granted and active monitoring by the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy.
