UN world map depiction of J&K and Ladakh

India has formally asserted that any UN-initiated world map must depict the Union Territories of Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh in alignment with India's official map.

India maintains that the resolution does not address political cartography, international boundaries, disputed territories, or place names.
India's position on its sovereignty and territorial integrity remains consistent and non-negotiable.

India has formally raised concerns with the United Nations regarding inaccuracies in a world map published by UN Geospatial on July 1.
